The answer is NO we do not have a fuel surcharge. As everyone is well aware the price for fuel has skyrocketed. Fuel on the water is highest it has ever been. Because of the fuel increase and how much our other expenses have increased we in turn have had to increase our prices. We go threw a lot of fuel each trip but we will not let the high prices effect how far we will go to get to the fish. Sometimes we need to run 20 miles each way and that’s just part of the game. Those that have fished with us know we are willing to make those long runs when needed and that hasn’t changed. We will never ask our customers for additional money the day of the trip so we can cover the costs for a long run to the fish or stop early in a area where we know we haven’t gone far enough to get to the fish. We want to do what we can to get the most fish we can so as always we do what it takes and if that means burning more $$ in fuel that’s just what we are going to do. We are often asked how much to fill up the boat. Well this year it will be around $1,300-$1,700 per fill up.
