.SYNOPSIS…
Low pressure around 29.4 inches over northern Ontario will continue to head north through today and enter Hudson Bay by dawn on Thursday, filling slowly as it goes. Breezy west-southwest winds will continue today and will linger into the first half of Thursday.
Thursday afternoon, high pressure around 30.1 inches will build in and the lingering pressure gradient over the Upper Great Lakes should ease, allowing winds to diminish. Lighter winds are then expected Thursday afternoon into Friday morning as high pressure shifts east over the region. Winds will come around to northwesterly and then around to southeasterly Friday afternoon into Friday night ahead of approaching low pressure of 29.8 inches.
